Clock tower in Worms, Dieter Schneidler and family, the village of Beilstein, a vineyard on a hill, and looking across the Mosel from our hotel in Beilstein.
Beth, what wonderful pictures! It's so fantastic that you found relatives... and traced the Schneidler clan to the 1700's... wow! What a treasure! -Michele
Just read your report from Germany and of course the best part is how you found relatives - you are true travelers! Enjoy each moment and keep up the great blog! Love, Laurie
Hi Jon and Beth, I have so enjoyed reading your blogs. Like I said before, I am going to use them as my tour books, along with Rick Steve’s, when John and I do our European trek. It was so reminiscent to see the vineyards of Bavaria and the Black Forest. John and I met in June of 1967 on a plane going to Stanford in Germany’s overseas campus, where we lived for six months in a house atop a mountaintop vineyard just like the one in your pictures. It was located just a few kilometers from the small village of Beutelsbach. What an adventure! I have not been back to Europe since then and think it is time I did. John has been several times on business. Please send me your email again. I tried contacting you on the mac.com sight with no luck. Regards, Ann Pyles
